William W. Brundige (my great grandfather) and Flora Watters married January 1, 1879, He was just 16 and was given permission to marry Flora by my 2nd G Grandfather Bennett Brundige. I believe they married in Delaware county, Ohio. Does anyone have any information on this union, and why Flora passed at such a young age? Any help would be appreciated. I would even love to know anything about her family. Thank you in advance.

Flora, wife of W.W.Brundige. Died Mar.10, 1879 in her 19th year. Adopted daughter of S. (Sylvester) J. & S.A. Watters.

Thank you Mr. Burns. I do have a photo of her tombstone that reads Flora Wife of W.W. Brundige, died March 10, 1879, daughter of S.J. Waters.

I also have a photo copy of the Marriage record that states her name as Flora Waters. The marriage date matches your find, now I am more curious than ever. Again Thank you so much for this piece of information. Hopefully I can reach out to the Ohio Historical records to see what more I can possibly find. This marriage was not know by my family that is still living.

Sincerely,

Krista

On one other note, she was apparently adopted by a S.J. Waters/Watters/Watson?
