I have a person who adopted out a baby and I wand to enter adopted parents details and their family but can't see how this is supported

When editing that person, there is a section called "Birth Order". You will find a checkbox for Adopted

This is for a child adopted into a family but does not allow for entering the details of a child adopted out and show adopted name or adoption parents etc.

You could have a look at what I did for Elsie Margaret Scott who was adopted out to a Page family. See link below. While I did not put the Page family in the tree and just mentioned their name in Elsie's notes you could enter the adopting family in the tree as a new family They could be linked to the adoptee by using a html link in the adoptee notes. Or, do it the other way and treat the adoptee as one of the adopting family and link her by html to the birth parents.Thats one method I thought about. . Someone else may suggest something different.
